The Tennessee Titans hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars in an AFC South divisional matchup on Sunday, and left their home stadium with their tails between their legs after holding the Jags scoreless through three quarters only to let them score 10 unanswered points to win the game. It dropped their record to 3-10 on the season and officially eliminated them from playoff contention.
It wasn’t all bad; the Titans’ defense showed its strengths by grabbing two interceptions in the first half. But their stamina gave out at the end of the game, and they simply ran out of gas to stop the Jags’ attack. The Titans’ offense couldn’t get anything going in the air i the second half, and that’s ultimately what cost then the game.
