Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Titans are expected to work out Adrian Peterson this week:
The #Titans are expected to work out veteran RB Adrian Peterson this week, sources say, in the wake of the Derrick Henry foot injury. Tennessee could replace the MVP candidate with one of the greatest running backs of all time.

I don’t know who they will eventually bring in to be a running back, because saying they are going to replace him is silly, but it shouldn’t be Adrian Peterson. Peterson was obviously, as Rap Sheet pointed out, an all-time great, but that time is over. I would rather them bring in an unproven guy who still has juice in his legs than Peterson.
Over the last three years Peterson has compiled 618 carries for 2,544 yards. That’s 4.11 yards per carry. That’s not terrible, but Peterson is 36 years old. Those numbers are only going to go downhill from here.
They are sure to bring in a whole host of guys and entertain various trade targets over the next day and a half. Here’s to hoping they can find someone with a little more upside than Adrian Peterson.
