The Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals faced off at Nissan Stadium in Week 15. The Titans’ season will end when the regular season is over, but the Bengals still have hopes of making the playoffs after defeating the Titans 38-21.
It was a game with a lot of back-and-forth play, sloppy by both teams. The two teams combined for 10 total turnovers and 26 penalties for 223 yards. For their part, the Titans threw four interceptions and fumbled the ball twice. Will Levis was benched after throwing his third interception in the middle of the third quarter, but Mason Rudolph threw one of his own as well, plus muffed a handoff to Tony Pollard that resulted in a wild play that should have ended with a Bengals touchdown. Instead, the Bengals fumbled the ball out of the endzone, and the Titans retained possession on the 25-yard line.
The Bengals managed to get their act together long enough to put enough points on the board to win the game and keep their playoff hopes alive, but it wasn’t as easy of a feat as the score might have you think.
Here’s a look at some of the studs and duds (and studly duds) from Sunday’s Week 15 loss.
