We continue our all-quarter century team voting with guard.
Over the next few weeks leading up to Tennessee Titans’ training camp, we are going to name the Titans All-Quarter Century team. Each weekday, I will post a poll at a different position for you to vote on. Feel free to explain your reasoning for your vote in the comments. We continue today with guard. I am not going to break this one out by left and right. We will do two polls to determine the two winners.
One additional note, I said I was going to do two tight ends, but Frank Wycheck and Delanie Walker were the overwhelming winners in the first vote, so I am going to just go ahead and put both of them on the team. There is really no need for an additional poll.
There are quite a few names to consider at guard. The individual stats don’t seem all that relevant here, but below is a list of players and how many games they played for the Titans from 2000-2024:
Bruce Matthews
Bruuuuuuce played in 32 games for the Titans in 2000 and 2001. He would be a lock if we were doing a whole career, but he was at the end of his career during this time frame.
Benji Olson
Olson played in 128 games for the Titans from 2000 to 2007.
Zach Pillar
Pillar played in 79 games for the Titans from 2000 to 2006.
Jacob Bell
Bell played in 55 games for the Titans from 2004 to 2007.
Steve Hutchinson
Hutchinson played in just 12 games with the Titans in 2012. He is the second-best player on this list behind Matthews, but his time with the Titans was limited.
Andy Levitre
Levitre played in 32 games for the Titans from 2013 to 2014.
Chance Warmack
Warmack played in 48 games for the Titans from 2013 to 2016.
Quinton Spain
Spain played in 50 games for the Titans from 2015 to 2018.
Rodger Saffold
Saffold played in 46 games for the Titans from 2019 to 2021 and made the Pro Bowl in 2021.
Nate Davis
Davis played in 55 games for the Titans from 2019 to 2022.
Peter Skoronski
Skoronski played in 31 games for the Titans in 2023 and 2024.
