We kick off our all-quarter century team voting today.

Over the next few weeks leading up to Tennessee Titans‘ training camp, we are going to name the Titans All-Quarter Century team. Each weekday, I will post a poll at a different position for you to vote on. Feel free to explain your reasoning for your vote in the comments. We start with the most important position on the field – quarterback.

Steve McNair

McNair played 99 regular season games for the Titans from 2000-2005. In those 99 games, he threw for 17,303 yards with 106 touchdowns and 67 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,662 yards and 15 touchdowns. Air McNair was named the NFL Co-MVP with Peyton Manning in 2003. His start with the organization was a bit rocky, but by the time he left for the team that will not be named, he was the face of the franchise.

Vince Young

Young played 54 regular season games for Tennessee from 2006-2010. He threw for 8,098 yards with 42 touchdowns and 42 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,380 yards and 12 touchdowns. His time here was tumultuous for sure, but he gave the franchise some great moments, including the 18-play 99-yard touchdown drive to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009.

Marcus Mariota

Mariota played 63 regular season games for the Titans from 2015-2019. He threw for 13,207 yards with 76 touchdowns and 44 interceptions. He rushed for 1,399 yards and 11 touchdowns. My favorite Mariota memory is when he stiff-armed Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Barry Church on New Year’s Eve in 2017.

Ryan Tannehill

Tannehill played 67 regular season games for the Titans from 2019-2023. He threw for 14,447 yards with 93 touchdowns and 40 interceptions. He also added 21 rushing touchdowns. Tannehill gets less credit than he should for his time here because of how bad he was in the playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals following the 2021 season.
