The Tennessee Titans head to Texas this weekend to face the Houston Texans in an AFC South divisional matchup. The game is set to kick off at 1pm EDT at NRG Stadium, and despite these two teams being so far apart wth wins and losses, the difference between them isn’t so great.
The Titans have struggled under new head coach Brian Callahan, but a lot of the issues are starting to resolve themselves and the players in the locker room are still buying into his leadership. Despite losing 23-13 to the Minnesota Vikings last week, the Titans look like a different team now than at the beginning of the season. Which is a good thing, it means they’re making progress.
The Texans, meanwhile, sit atop the AFC South with wiggle room and look to get past the divisional round of the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. But quarterback C.J. Stroud is in a bit of a sophomore slulmp, which the TItans can take advantage of this weekend.
The Titans desperately need another win for team morale. Plus, if they win, they will still mathmatecally be able to qualify for the playoffs, no matter what craziness has to happen around the league for that to happen, it’s not off the table.
