Titans' A.J. Brown doesn't care about his 'Madden NFL 22' ratings

July 31, 2021 by Titans Wire Leave a Comment

While a lot has been made about the low rating for Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown in the “Madden NFL 22” video game, the budding superstar wideout couldn’t care less.

Brown received an overall mark of 86, which ranked him outside the top 20 highest-rated receivers in the latest version of the wildly-popular video game franchise. Among Titans players, Brown ranks fifth.

To their credit, Titans fans have tried to back up their man on social media and argue that he deserves to be rated higher than some other receivers, but Brown isn’t as invested in his rating as they are.

“Stop tagging me in that Madden bs,” Brown tweeted “My dreams are bigger than a video game.”

On top of his immense talent, we also love Brown because he always says the right thing and doesn’t get bogged down in minor stuff like this. Instead, he’s focused on his career, which has been incredibly successful thus far.

Since entering the league in 2019, Brown has become one of the best young players in the NFL, and among the highest-graded players at his position. He has posted back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons to start his career, and notched one Pro Bowl nod.

So far in training camp, Brown has looked the part, as he’s regularly dominating teammates during one-on-ones in practice.

Set to have his best season yet, we have a good feeling Brown will get more respect from “Madden NFL 22” as the campaign progresses.
