Landry is the fourth Titan to get added to the Covid-19/Reserve list in the past three days. The news comes just days after head coach Mike Vrabel announced he tested positive for the virus, two days after the team placed defensive tackle Anthony Rush on the same list, and one day after running back Jeremy McNichols and linebacker Nick Dzubnar joined Rush on the list.

The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. If a player falls into either of these categories, his club is required to immediately place the player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Titans also claimed veteran offensive lineman Gray off waivers, as mentioned above. Gray was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has since then spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Gray will now have a few days to prove he’s worthy of a spot on the team’s final 53-man roster.

Let’s hope none of the players placed on the Covid-19/Reserve list suffer a setback in their chase to secure a roster spot.

The Titans roster count currently stands at 80 after the addition of Gray. As always, stay tuned to MCM for updates.
