Titans’ Bryce Oliver determined to make 53-man roster in 2025

February 9, 2025 by Titans Wire

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Bryce Oliver joined the team as an undrafted free agent in 2024. He remained with the team through the offseason and was released as part of the final 53-man roster cuts. He was re-signed to the practice squad the next day and eventually earned some playing time in 2024.

Oliver spent most of 2024 on special teams as a return man, but he did catch six passes for 95 yards, including four first downs, in his rookie season.

Looking ahead to 2025, though, Oliver is determined to make the 53-man roster from the go.

He recently spoke to the Tribune Chronicle about his experience in 2024, the learning curve he experienced, and how he tried to take advantage of the opportunities he was given.

Oliver learned a lot in 2024 and plans to use that knowledge to land on the roster in 2025.

“Every year, I want to have the same approach I did when I was coming in as a rookie,” Oliver said. “I want to make the 53-man roster. Ultimately, I want to have a pivotal role on this team, whether it’s being on special teams or whether that’s being a starter on offense as a receiver. It really doesn’t matter, I just want to be able to contribute.”

Oliver bided his time in 2024, he did everything he could to prove he belonged and earned himself in-game playing time, which is an experience he can use going forward.

He is a promising young receiver on a team that needs weapons, and if he puts in the work, he will set himself up for success in 2025.
