Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has made the NFL Top 100 Players of 2020 list for the second straight year.
After coming in at No. 99 in 2019, Henry has made a huge jump up the list for 2020, coming in at No. 10, which is the highest ranking any Titans player has ever received in the history of the NFL Top 100.
Henry’s move up the rankings is well-deserved.
The former second-round pick led the NFL in rushing yards last season with 1,540, and his 16 rushing touchdowns were tied for tops in the league, along with the Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Jones.
Henry then carried the momentum of a great regular season into the playoffs, where he put the Titans on his back in the first two rounds in wins over the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens.
The Alabama product totaled an astounding 446 rushing yards in three postseason games, 377 of which came in the aforementioned victories.
The Titans rewarded Henry with a four-year, $50 million ($25.5 million guaranteed) contract extension this offseason, making him the fifth-highest-paid back in the NFL based on annual average salary.
