The Tennessee Titans added to their cornerbacks room in the 2024 NFL draft when they selected Louisville product Jarvis Brownlee Jr. in the fifth round (pick 146).
The Titans had already beefed up their secondary in a big way this offseason, but there were depth concerns behind the top three of L’Jarius Sneed, Chidobe Awuzie and Roger McCreary.
It remains to be seen how much of a role Brownlee can carve out in his first season, but he certainly isn’t lacking confidence, and he has a chip on his shoulder because of how late he was picked.
“I’m hyped, I’m anxious, I’m kind of upset,” Brownlee said. “But for me, I think I am just ready to go. It is a dream come true. It is a blessing. But for me, I am just so anxious to show the world what Jarvis Brownlee can do. I always felt like I was doubted, even to this day. So, to me, it is just another step to prove to the world what Jarvis Brownlee can do. I do feel like I am one of the top corners in this draft, and that is just for me to show the world. I am ready to do that.”
Here’s a look at what scouting reports say about the newest member of the Titans’ cornerbacks room.
