The Titans finally add some weapons for Cam Ward
After drafting two defensive players on day two of the NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans added three playmakers in the 4th round. They had the first pick of the 4th round and used it to select Chimere Dike, WR, Florida. Dike gives the Titans the deep threat they desperately needed, clocking a 4.34 in the 40 at the NFL Combine. He played four years at Wisconsin before transferring to Florida for his 5th year. He averaged 18.6 yards per catch in his one season at Florida.
With the 18th pick of the 4th round, the Titans selected Gunnar Helm, TE, Texas. Helm was really productive for the Longhorns last season with 60 catches for 786 yards and seven touchdowns. This was the first pick since Cam Ward who was highly productive in college. He gives the Titans another athletic tight end to pair with Chig Okonkwo.
The Titans then traded back into the 4th round with the Baltimore Ravens to select Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford. Aymomanor was just a two-year starter at Stanford but was highly productive with 125 catches for 1,844 yards and 12 touchdowns across his two years.
