Mike Borgonzi completes his first draft as Titans GM
The Tennessee Titans have made all of their picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. After so much talk about trading the first pick, they ended up sticking and picking Cam Ward, who they hope will become the face of the franchise for the next decade plus. They did not have a third round pick coming into the draft, but were able to trade down at the top of the second round to add a third rounder.
After taking two defensive players on day two, they spent their first four picks on day three on offensive players. My favorite pick from day three is Jackson Slater in the fifth round. They have invested so much in the offensive line, and he projects as a guy that could be a starter down the line without much initial investment.
Coming into the draft, their biggest needs were QB, EDGE, WR, and S. They addressed those four positions with their first four picks in the draft. I would have preferred a day two wide receiver, but they ended up with a couple of solid options in the fourth round.
Here is the Titans 2025 draft class:
1.1- Cam Ward | QB | Miami
2.52 – Femi Oladeju | EDGE | UCLA
3.82 – Kevin Winston Jr. | S | Penn St.
4.103 – Chimere Dike | WR | Florida
4.120 – Gunnar Helm | TE | Texas
4.136 – Elic Ayomanor | WR | Stanford
5.167 – Jackson Slater | IOL | Sacramento St.
6.183 – Marcus Harris | CB | California
6.188 – Kalel Mullings | RB | Michigan
