That feels like a fair grade.
In this week’s reacts poll, I asked you to grade Will Levis. I never really know what to expect when I ask a question like that, but this one feels pretty spot on:
Levis has shown some good and some bad through six starts which is pretty much what you expect from a rookie. There is no doubt he has shown enough that the plan for next year should be to improve the talent around him and see if he can take the next step when he isn’t running for his life on every play.
As for confidence the team is headed in the right direction:
To me, this question just hinges on Levis for the rest of the season. If he continues to improve, we should feel good about the overall direction of the team. That’s all that is left to play for this season. It’s quite frankly the only reason to watch the team at this point.
