The Tennessee Titans found the cornerback they so desperately needed during the first round of the 2021 NFL draft when they selected cornerback Caleb Farley out of Virginia Tech.
Farley comes with some risk due to past injuries, but he was ranked as one of the best cornerbacks in this class when not factoring in the aforementioned medical issues.
Without them, he could have been a top-10 pick and the first cornerback off the board, so it’s easy to understand why the Titans took a chance on him at No. 22 overall.
Shortly after the pick was made, Titans safety Kevin Byard and left guard Rodger Saffold took to Twitter to share their reaction.

As long as he can stay healthy, Farley stands to provide a major boost to the Titans’ secondary, an area where the team struggled mightily last season before purging the cornerbacks room this offseason.
Whether or not he makes an impact immediately or further down the road remains to be seen, though.
