Titans Offensive Line Is A Disaster With Injuries

November 4, 2023 by The Spun

Somehow, the Tennessee Titans are currently leading tonight’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers despite suffering multiple injuries along the offensive line.

Tennessee doesn’t have starting right tackle Chris Hubbard available tonight due to a concussion, Hubbard’s replacement, Nicholas Petit-Frere, went down in the first quarter and left the game; he’s questionable to return with a shoulder issue.

Petit-Frere was followed by rookie left guard Peter Skoronski, who briefly exited with an unknown injury only to return shortly thereafter. Additionally, the Titans already had to bench a starter, tackle Andre Dillard, before last week’s game due to ineffective play, though Dillard is back in the lineup tonight.

Despite all of this shuffling up front, the Titans, led by second round rookie quarterback Will Levis, have a 10-7 lead at the two-minute warning.

Derrick Henry crosses the plane for a Titans’ touchdown. Jeff Simmons the lead blocker. Really impressive 11-play drive for Tennessee. Overcame all kinds of injuries to the OL.

Titans take the lead, 10-7.

We’ll see if the Titans’ makeshift front can hold up against T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, Alex Highsmith and company.
