Titans release first injury report ahead of Week 3 game vs. Browns

September 20, 2023 by Titans Wire

The Tennessee Titans are set to face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon in a battle between two teams who are trying to get over .500.

While there are still a few days before game time,  we finally got our first peek into the initial injury reports for both teams.

However, Tennessee tends to use Wednesday as a precautionary period where they ramp up those who are dealing with an injury, so the reports on Thursday and Friday will give us a better indication of where everyone is at.

Unfortunately, Peter Skoronski has already been all but ruled out for Sunday’s contest as he recovers from an appendectomy, therefore, he was nowhere to be found on Wednesday.

Adding to that, Teair Tart, Anthony Kendall, and Luke Gifford were also missing from Wednesday’s practice with their respective injuries you’ll see listed below.

Meanwhile, Harold Landry was present for the stretching part of practice, but he then went to the side during the individual portion, although it’s unknown whether or not he returned during the team period that media members aren’t allowed to watch.

It should be noted that Landry is listed with a hamstring ailment on Wednesday after battling an abdomen issue the previous couple of weeks.

Derrick Henry and Denico Autry also popped up on the initial injury report as limited participants, so that obviously bears watching going forward.

On the good news front, Kristin Fulton and Amani Hooker returned to practice on Wednesday. Both were listed as full participants after missing last week’s game against the Chargers.

Their return is undoubtedly a positive development toward both of their inevitable returns sometime in the near future.

DeAndre Hopkins also returned to practice fully on Wednesday after missing all three practices prior to Week 2.

Considering he ended up playing last week despite not practicing, it’s a pretty safe bet that he’ll once again be out there on Sunday barring any setbacks.

As for the Browns, a total of five players did not practice on Wednesday, while another five were either limited or full participants.

Without further adieu, let’s find out exactly what everyone is dealing with following the first practice of the week.
