Titans release first unofficial depth chart of the season

August 7, 2023 by Titans Wire

With the first preseason game of the year taking place this Saturday, the Tennessee Titans finally released their first unofficial depth chart of the 2023 campaign.

The initial list looks cluttered as of right now considering 90 names are being crammed into one depth chart, but similarly to the rest of the league, the Titans will have to get their roster down to 53 players by the end of the month.

However, before we take a look, it should be noted that the proper way to read the depth chart is from left to right.

Therefore, using the wide receiver position as an example, DeAndre Hopkins is listed as one starter, with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Philips being D-Hop’s primary backups, while Mason Kinsey, Colton Dowell, and Gavin Holmes are listed fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively.

While this is an important first step to gauge how the Titans view their roster heading into the preseason, a lot of these initial depth charts should be taken with a grain of salt because a lot can happen between now and cut-down day on Aug. 29.

Nevertheless, you can find the Titans’ initial 90-man depth chart in its entirety posted below:
