Tennessee Titans left guard Rodger Saffold has enjoyed a long, successful career in the NFL as he enters Year 12, but he clearly isn’t resting on his laurels ahead of the 2021 campaign.
Saffold, who was a second-round pick of the then-St. Louis Rams back in 2010, is entering his third season with the Titans after signing a four-year, $44 million deal with the team in 2019.
After struggling early on in his inaugural season in Nashville, Saffold has settled in nicely since, making up one-fifth of what has become one of the most dominant offensive lines in the NFL.
Recently, Saffold has been sharing photos and videos of himself hard at work preparing for the upcoming season, showing that his desire to get better and improve physically never stops.

Perhaps the best part about Saffold’s recent shares on social media is his taking young right guard Nate Davis under his wing, showing that the veteran is more than just a great blocker upfront.
Davis, a former third-round pick of the Titans in 2019, took a big step in the right direction in 2020 and couldn’t have a better player to model his game and work ethic after than Saffold.
