The Tennessee Titans signed offensive tackle Isaiah Prince to the practice squad on Tuesday, per reports.

The Titans’ offensive line has been just plain bad this season. They’ve allowed 19 sacks this season, an average of 3.17 sacks per game. On those sacks, the Titans have lost 124 offensive yards, an average of almost 21 yards per game.
The crazy thing is that includes the game against the Indianapolis Colts when Leroy Watson started in place of Nicholas Petit-Frere and the Titans didn’t allow a single sack. So, if you average it out over five games instead of six… you get the drift.
Brian Callahan knows this is a problem. He’s admitted he’s open to changing the offensive line personnel, and signing Prince adds depth to the position.
Prince has appeared in 21 regular season games, starting six and four playoff games. He was part of the Cincinnati Bengals team in 2021 when Callahan was the offensive coordinator, so there’s also a history there. In 395 pass-protection snaps in 2021, Prince allowed 36 pressures.
Even if Prince never plays for the Titans, the signing should motivate the current players to perform better on the field or risk losing playing time.
