The Tennessee Titans trade down in Todd McShay’s 2026 mock draft
The Tennessee Titans haven’t even hosted rookie minicamp yet for their 2025 NFL Draft class, but that hasn’t stopped the masses from producing 2026 mock drafts. Todd McShay is the latest household name to deliver his way-too-early projection.
McShay has the Titans trading down from No. 4 overall with the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are equipped with extra draft capital after trading out of the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft with the Atlanta Falcons. Sean McVay moves up for South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers, which makes sense considering the Titans obviously won’t be drafting a quarterback after landing Cam Ward at No. 1 overall.
The Titans end up drafting South Carolina wide receiver Nyck Harbor at No. 11 overall. That’s a massive projection, considering Harbor produced 26 receptions for 376 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 2024. He’s an electric athlete track star, hence why analysts are predicting a massive leap in 2025.

As a result of Tennessee’s mock trade-down, the Titans miss out on the top-ranked EDGE prospect, with Clemson’s T.J. Parker going No. 9 overall to the Cleveland Browns. Parker is an athletic specimen who recorded 11.0 sacks for the Tigers last season.
The Titans entered the 2025 NFL Draft with fairly massive needs at EDGE and wide receiver. Coming out of the draft, it’s fair to assume their first-round selection in 2026 will occur at one of those premium positions.
Dennard Wilson’s top three veteran options at EDGE in Arden Key, Dre’Mont Jones, and Lorenzo Carter are all on expiring contracts. A true game-changer isn’t present at the pass-rushing position. We’ll see how quickly second-round pick Femi Oladejo acclimates, but the Titans will need more at EDGE even if Oladejo has a great rookie season.
At receiver, Calvin Ridley and Tyler Lockett are aging presences. Will rookie wideouts Chimere Dike and/or Elic Ayomanor achieve enough as rookies to prove they deserve a top-three role as sophomores in 2026?
