As my good friend and Indianapolis Colts (5-3) fanatic Bob Angle would say, “oh boy.” The Tennessee Titans (6-2) have a Week 10 bloodbath ahead of them, as the divisional rival Colts head to Nissan Stadium on Thursday night.
The primetime matchup will feature new faces across the board for both squads. The Colts got a taste of Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill once last season, resulting in a 31-17 victory for head coach Mike Vrabel and Co.
The Titans will face a veteran quarterback in new colors. Philip Rivers signed with Indianapolis in the offseason and, regardless of where he suits up, remains a signal-caller the Titans have struggled to defeat in the past.
But, the Titans may have an inside scoop as to the quarterbacks’ tendencies. Newly-acquired cornerback, Desmond King II, played with Rivers in Los Angeles for three seasons and made his Titans debut in Week 9.
Not only will this contest take a physical toll on the players, but it will undoubtedly be a cerebral challenge for both squads. Thursday night will feature two of the most intelligent head coaches in the league and will likely come down to which team makes the most mistakes.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the key matchups in Week 10.
