Titans vs. Jaguars: 3 best player prop bets for Week 14

December 7, 2024 by Titans Wire

The Tennessee Titans will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14. This will be the first of two meetings between these division rivals in 2024.

Heading into the game, the Titans are 4.5-point favorites, according to BetMGM. The biggest story heading into this game is Trevor Lawrence, who was put on IR after taking a cheap shot in Week 13.

Entering this weekend, the Titans are 3-9, while the Jaguars are 2-10. Now, let’s identify the three best player prop bets for this AFC South battle.

Tony Pollard OVER 68.5 rushing yards

Jacksonville has not had a good run defense in 2024. The team is No. 24 in the league in terms of rushing yards allowed, giving up 133,2 yards per game.

Tony Pollard continues to be a consistent veteran performer for the Titans. The RB didn’t have his best game last weekend, so expect a bounce back in Week 14.

Mac Jones UNDER 199.5 passing yards

With Trevor Lawrence out for the season, the Jaguars will likely turn to Mac Jones. Jones started in two games for the Jags this season, and the team lost both contests.

Jones did throw for over 199.5 yards in one of his starts this season. However, the Titans still lead the league in passing yards allowed per game and should be able to shut Jones down.

Calvin Ridley OVER 4.5 receptions

This will be Calvin Ridley’s first game against his former team. Do you think that will be a motivating factor for the receiver?

Ridley will be on his game and likely be a security blanket for Will Levis. It wouldn’t surprise me if Ridley doubled this projected catch total. The Titans’ leading receiver should have his best game yet as a Titan.
