Titans vs. Jaguars: 3 best player prop bets for Week 17

December 28, 2024 by Titans Wire

The Tennessee Titans are taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17. This will be the final matchup between these rivals in 2024.

At BetMGM, the Jaguars are favored by 1 and the over/under is set at 39.5 points. The first time these teams met in 2024, only one touchdown was scored and the Jaguars won, 10-6.

With both teams sitting at 3-12, this game only matters when it comes to draft position. Now, let’s identify the best player prop bets for this matchup.

Mason Rudolph OVER 225.5 passing yards

Mason Rudolph didn’t play against the Jaguars in the first matchup. Now, the veteran is starting and should be able to perform better than Will Levis did. Levis only threw for 168 yards, failing to exploit a weak defense.

Meanwhile, Rudolph has thrown for more than 225 yards three times this season. Expect the veteran to get plenty of yards through the air this weekend.

Calvin Ridley OVER 62.5 receiving yards

Calvin Ridley needs 143 yards to reach 1,000 on the season. What better time to have a big game than against his former team?

Don’t be surprised to see Ridley cross 100 yards this weekend. The wide receiver has experience playing in Jacksonville and Rudolph at quarterback should give the wide receiver more opportunities.

Ridley has crossed this number six times in 2024. With a milestone number in sight, the wide receiver will cross it again.

Brian Thomas OVER 6.5 receptions

Brian Thomas has become more involved in the Jaguars’ offense as the season progresses. The rookie has caught eight or more passes in three straight games.

In the last matchup against Tennessee, Thomas caught eight passes for 86 yards. The rookie caught a pass that set up the game’s only score after breaking wide open.

Expect Thomas to exploit this secondary again in Week 17.
