Tom Brady absolutely shreds Mike Vrabel: 'Mike's kind of an (expletive)'

September 2, 2021 by Titans Wire Leave a Comment

The friendly back-and-forth jabs between Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady continue, as Brady absolutely roasted his former New England Patriots teammate.

During an episode of “In The Current,” a series chronicling the Bucs’ 2021 campaign, it covers the joint practices between Tennessee and Tampa Bay, and in it Brady says Vrabel is “kind of an (expletive) if you get to know him.”

But Brady didn’t stop there. He also called Vrabel “fat and out of shape” and says the Titans head coach has physically “declined to a pretty sad state.”

Ouch!

“Mike’s kind of an (expletive) if you get to know him. He went to Ohio State; obviously I don’t like him,” Brady said. “There’s a healthy competition between us always, even though he’s fat and out of shape now. Physically, he’s really declined to a pretty sad state.”

The close friends taking shots at one another has become commonplace since Vrabel became the head coach in Tennessee. The latest example of that came last month during joint practices between the two squads.

Brady said Vrabel has mellowed out since becoming a coach, and compared the former linebacker to a “typical diva receiver” when he didn’t get the ball thrown his way during their days in New England.

Vrabel quickly fired back, posting a picture on Twitter of himself, Brady, and Brady’s son, Jack, with the caption, “Jack Brady talking with his favorite former Patriot. Also pictured, Tom Brady.”

We can’t wait to see what Vrabel has to say about this one.
