Updated betting odds for Titans’ Week 13 showdown vs. Eagles

December 3, 2022 by Titans Wire

The Tennessee Titans are set for their toughest task of the season thus far as they prepare to face arguably the NFL’s best team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles are set to host the Titans in what will undoubtedly be an emotional and possibly very dramatic afternoon for a variety of reasons.

For starters, outside of a win over a Washington Commanders team led by Carson Wentz, Tennessee has lost three of four games against teams with a winning record.

As you would expect, this has only amplified the skepticism surrounding this Titans team. More importantly, Tennessee has to prove to itself that it’s capable of beating a quality opponent with the playoffs approaching.

On top of all this, as we’ve all discussed to a nauseating degree at this point, it will also be A.J. Brown’s first game against the team that drafted him.

Brown hasn’t exactly been shy about voicing his displeasure with how things ended, therefore, you can surely expect him to be emotionally charged up for this one.

All of these factors have resulted in the Titans being relatively significant underdogs on Sunday afternoon. However, the betting line has slightly tightened in comparison to where it started the week.

According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Eagles are now favored by 4.5 points, as opposed to the 5.5 they started the week at. Meanwhile, the over/under is still set at 44.5 points in this one.

Tipico Sportsbook

Tennessee comes into this game with the best road record against the spread for the 2022 season at 5-1. Although, it should be noted that the Eagles have the same 5-1 record against the spread when playing at home, per Team Rankings.

Only time will tell how this one gets settled on the field, but this game will be a must-watch event on Sunday.
