The Tennessee Titans finalized their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday and began putting together their practice squad on Wednesday, but since then both have undergone some changes.
And those changes were inevitable. Teams rarely stick with their initial group for several reasons, but the Titans had even more with nine players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list at the time.
Now, the Titans have seven players on the list, including quarterback Ryan Tannehill, tight end Geoff Swaim, center Ben Jones and right guard Nate Davis, all of whom are locks to be added to the 53-man roster when activated.
Adding to that, the Titans still have two more spots to fill on their practice squad and active roster. Teams are allowed a total of 16 players on their practice squad after rules changes in 2020.
With all that in mind, here’s a look at the Titans’ updated 53-man roster, practice squad, Reserve/COVID-19 and Injured Reserve lists.
Note: Players on the COVID-19 and IR lists are not counted towards the active roster. Players with an asterisk (*) next to their name are new additions to the 53-man roster or practice squad since initial release.
