Tennessee Titans’ third-round pick, Elijah Molden, saw his first live-action on Saturday Night and he took full advantage of the opportunity in front of him.
Molden looked comfortable and confident out there, making a plethora of the type of splash plays that made him such an intriguing prospect in the first place.
Arguably Molden’s best play came Midway through the fourth quarter when he came on a blitz and slipped under both Buccaneers blockers, used his hands to maintain balance, and then ferociously finished the sack.

On the very next snap, the Washington product beautifully read and reacted to a screen pass leading to a monstrous hit on Jaydon Mickens.

Although it’s a small sample size, Molden seems to be coming into his own, becoming the disruptive playmaker the team expected when they invested the 100th overall pick on him. Look for Molden to get an extended look next weekend in the team’s preseason finale against the Chicago Bears.
