The Tennessee Titans’ loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday was heart-wrenching. The Titans started out strong, looking good in the first half and recording 17 points while only allowing three. There was hope among the fans that the team might actually win their season opener, but that hope was dashed in the second half.
The Bears came out of halftime with a renewed sense of vigor and fight while it appeared the Titans thought the game was over. The Bears scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to come away with a 24-17 victory, making Caleb Williams the first top-picked rookie quarterback to win his debut in a season opener since David Carr in 2002.
