Will Levis On Steelers Stadium: I’ve Been In Louder

Will Levis made his first start inside Acrisure Stadium on Thursday night.

The Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback did what he could but ultimately, the Titans fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers by four, 20-16.

He got to experience how loud Steelers fans get, especially when “Renegade” by Styx comes on in the fourth quarter.

Levis liked it but thinks the crowd could’ve been a little louder.

“That’s a cool tradition they got here,” Levis said, (first transcribed by Steelers Depot). “The song’s a banger. It’s a good song. We’ve been playing it in practice all week and it’s been stuck in my head.”

“It was pretty loud. I’ve been in louder, so it was nothing crazy.”

Levis has played in bigger stadiums since he played in the SEC, so it’s not surprising for him to say that he’s been in louder environments.

He finished the game completing 56.4% of his passes for 262 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception.

Despite the loss, he looks like the quarterback of the future for the Titans and should get more starts in the back half of this season.
