Tennessee Titans wide receiver Cody Hollister was carted off the field at practice earlier today with an apparent knee injury, according to AtoZ’s Luke Worsham.

Hollister is a big target at 6-foot-4 and 216 pounds. He broke into the league as an undrafted free agent with the New England Patriots back in 2017. We know how much these two franchises love exchanging players. Hollister signed with the Titans in May of 2019 and has been on and off the team ever since. He’s been waived multiple times and added to the practice squad more times than I can count, but Hollister has managed to stick around Nashville. This is the third consecutive training camp that he’s been in Tennessee. The coaching staff has obviously seen enough good things to keep him around this long.

Even with all that experience and familiarity with the playbook, it was tough to see a route to the 53-man roster for Hollister given all the competition and bodies the Titans currently have at receiver. A spot on the practice squad seemed within reach.

We don’t know the severity of the injury, but it wouldn’t shock me if we hear Hollister’s name in a roster update in the coming days.
